Movie 43

“The biggest cast ever assembled for the most outrageous comedy ever made.”

Charlie Wessler (Dennis Quaid) is a screenwriter who corners a studio executive, Griffin Schraeder (Greg Kinnear), and pitches him one wild story after another. Each pitch becomes its own short film, directed by Steven Brill, Steve Carr and a long line of others, with Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet among the faces in the cast. Wessler keeps talking, and Schraeder has to sit there and listen to every word.
