“It's the swellest. It's the cream of the silver screen. It's got buckets of tears and a million laughs.”

Why does the same cast keep turning up in two different pictures, with a third film's trailer squeezed in between? That is the setup of Stanley Donen's double bill, which pairs a boxing drama, Dynamite Hands, with a backstage musical, Baxter's Beauties of 1933. George C. Scott (Gloves Malloy) leads both, with Trish Van Devere (Betsy McGuire), and Zero Hour, a faked flying-ace trailer, sits between them.
