Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House

“Looks like the Blandings will have no heating problem!”

Jim Blandings (Cary Grant), an advertising man, and his wife Muriel (Myrna Loy) can't work out how a family of four lives in a cramped New York apartment, and the answer they settle on is a house in the country. H. C. Potter follows the purchase and the remodel as one problem after another lands on the couple. Through all of it Jim and Muriel are still the ones standing in the half-finished rooms together, trying to make it theirs.
