Mr. Brooks

“The man who has everything has everything to hide.”

Earl Brooks (Kevin Costner) is a celebrated Portland businessman, a family man, and a serial killer, and the voice in his head, Marshall (William Hurt), keeps telling him to feed the habit. A blackmailer, Mr. Smith (Dane Cook), pulls Earl into a partnership he never wanted, while Det. Tracy Atwood (Demi Moore) reopens the case. Bruce A. Evans plays it as a pressure cooker, with Earl and Marshall talking calmly while everything around them tightens.
