Mr. Jones

(1993)Directed by Mike Figgis114 min · RDrama, Romance
“Everything That Makes Him Dangerous Makes Her Love Him More”

Mr. Jones (Richard Gere) is a charming, restless man who swings between giddy highs and deep lows, and his episodes keep landing him in the hospital. Dr. Libbie Bowen (Lena Olin) is assigned to his treatment, and her interest in him goes past what her job asks of her. Figgis stays close on Gere and Olin, letting the film move at the speed of Jones's moods.
