Mr. Muhsin

Muhsin (Şener Şen) is a lonely, middle-aged music producer in Istanbul who spends his days among singers, hangers-on and cheap taverns. One day Ali Nazik (Uğur Yücel), a trusting young man from the countryside, turns up at his door wanting to record a first album. Yavuz Turgul builds the film around this unlikely pairing, and what it shows is how much a person will give up for a dream that belongs to someone else.
