Mr. Roosevelt

“We fall apart to come together.”

Emily Martin (Noël Wells) has spent years in Los Angeles chasing a comedy career in the bohemian scene there, and the work hasn't come. When a tragedy at home pulls her back to Austin, she lands on the couch of her ex-boyfriend Eric (Nick Thune), now living with his new girlfriend Celeste (Britt Lower). Wells, directing for the first time, sets Emily's return against what she might lose by staying.
