Mr. Saturday Night

(1992)Directed by Billy Crystal119 min · RComedy, Drama
“It's lonely at the middle.”

Buddy Young Jr. (Billy Crystal) was once the comic everyone in show business loved, and now he plays to tiny crowds in nursing homes. His brother and manager Stan (David Paymer) sees the sensible thing to do, and Buddy won't hear it. Billy Crystal, directing for the first time, shows a man who can't believe the world stopped needing him, and who has nothing else he knows how to be.
