(1938)Directed by William Nigh70 minCrime, Thriller, Mystery
“Thousands asked to see Collier's Magazine famous detective on the screen... here he is!”

James Lee Wong (Boris Karloff) is a San Francisco detective who works alongside the police, and a chemical manufacturer has just asked him for help. The man is dead before Wong can give it, and two more murders follow, with Police Capt. Sam Street (Grant Withers) leaning on him for answers. Director William Nigh keeps the case moving, but Wong can't let three deaths pile up while the person behind them stays free.
