Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway

“A mother's fight against a nation.”

Debika Chatterjee (Rani Mukerji), an Indian mother living in Norway, wants her two children back after the state's foster care system takes them from her home. Ashima Chibber, working from the true story of Sagarika Chakraborty and Anurup Bhattacharya, follows her through the Norwegian courts with her husband Anurag (Soumya Mukherjee) beside her. Debika sits among the case files and legal papers, a mother with a family to bring home.
