Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris
“Follow your dream.”
Ada Harris (Lesley Manville) cleans other women's houses in 1950s London, and the day she sees a Christian Dior gown hanging in a client's wardrobe, she decides she has to own one. She saves every coin and crosses to Paris, where the doors of the fashion house are not built to open for someone like her. Anthony Fabian shapes her trip as a plain case for why a woman who scrubs floors should be allowed a couture dress of her own.
