Mudborn

Hsu-Chuan (Tony Yang) returns to his hometown with friends, and they stumble upon a strange ritual in the mud and marshes nearby. Mu-Hua (Cecilia Choi) and the others become caught in a supernatural curse rooted in local folklore, where the boundary between the physical world and the spectral begins to collapse. Shieh Meng-ju builds the horror through silence and small wrongnesses, letting the dread accumulate like sediment.
