Mudbound

Laura McAllan (Carey Mulligan) moves to a Mississippi farm after the war, where her husband Henry (Jason Clarke) has bought land on a flood-prone plot of mud. Dee Rees follows two families, one white and one Black, as Jamie McAllan (Garrett Hedlund) and Ronsel Jackson (Jason Mitchell) come home from the fighting changed. In a county where the old order decides who works the land and who owns it, Ronsel's family is bound to the McAllans' fields.
