“She's primped. She's engaged. She's back.”

The Emperor hands Mulan (Ming-Na Wen) and Captain Li Shang (BD Wong) a secret mission just as Shang proposes: three princesses must be escorted to Chang'an. Mushu (Mark Moseley), the tiny dragon guardian, learns he loses his post if she marries into the Li family, so he sets out to come between them. Darrell Rooney and Lynne Southerland keep the road trip in bright songs and brisk comic bits.
