After eleven Israeli athletes are taken hostage and murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympics, the Israeli government recruits a small team of Mossad agents to hunt down those responsible. Avner (Eric Bana) leads it, with Steve (Daniel Craig), Carl (Ciarán Hinds), Robert (Mathieu Kassovitz) and Hans (Hanns Zischler) beside him. Steven Spielberg follows the team through the names on their list, and Avner learns how heavy the work is to carry home.
