“Secrets. Betrayal. Treason.”

A secret is moving through the corridors of the 1938 Munich Conference, and two men who were once close friends are the only ones placed to find it. Hugh Legat (George MacKay) now works for Neville Chamberlain (Jeremy Irons), while Paul von Hartman (Jannis Niewöhner) serves the German government. Christian Schwochow ends on the two of them, long out of touch, standing across a Munich room from each other.
