“Taking the world by farce.”

Fresh off the success of their telethon, the Muppets set out on a world tour of Europe, and nobody notices that the Kermit leading it is not Kermit. He is a look-alike, a criminal named Constantine, working for the dastardly Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais), and the troupe is being used as cover for a jewel-heist caper. James Bobin keeps the songs and the stage numbers coming, and the real Kermit is somewhere far from the spotlight.
