Murder Ahoy

(1964)Directed by George Pollock93 minDrama, Thriller, Crime, Mystery, Comedy
“New mischief amidst the mizzen-masts!”

A trustee collapses during the annual board meeting, and Miss Marple (Margaret Rutherford) finds a chemical on him that points to poison. She follows it to the ship he had just come from, where Captain Rhumstone (Lionel Jeffries) runs a tight deck, and George Pollock sends her aboard. Under the brisk comedy sits a plain idea, that a sharp, unfashionable woman will keep asking questions long after everyone else has stopped.
