In 1963 England, Miss Marple (Margaret Rutherford) and Mr. Stringer (Stringer Davis) are on hand when the wealthy, elderly Mr. Enderby dies of a heart attack. The doctors are satisfied. Miss Marple is not, and Inspector Craddock (Charles Tingwell) has no patience for her doubts, so George Pollock follows her as she goes looking by herself, with Stringer a step behind.
