“By the time the world's greatest detectives figure out whodunnit... you could die laughing!”

Lionel Twain (Truman Capote), a reclusive millionaire, invites the five greatest detectives in the world to his mansion for a dinner and a murder. Among the guests are Sidney Wang (Peter Sellers) and the married sleuths Dick and Dora Charleston (David Niven and Maggie Smith), all served by a blind butler. Robert Moore directs Neil Simon's script, and by midnight each of them has staked a reputation on solving a crime that has not yet been committed.
