“Brutal Savagery in a Future World!”

In a future where the state condemns people to die, a nurse named Ana Vernia (Sue Lyon) sets out to bring her own kind of relief to the condemned. Eloy de la Iglesia keeps her past hidden, so nobody around her, David (Christopher Mitchum) and Victor Sender (Jean Sorel) included, can say who she really is. Lyon moves through the story with a nurse's calm, and the condemned wait for her.
