“Everyone is a suspect.”

Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh), the Belgian detective, wants one thing in the 1930s: a few days of quiet rest, and he boards the luxury Orient Express hoping to find them. The train fills with an ensemble of strangers, among them the wealthy American Edward Ratchett (Johnny Depp), and Ratchett turns up dead. Branagh plays the detective as a man whose famous mind will not let him leave a question unanswered.
