“Matt Helm outdoes Matt Helm in his new all-out adventure!”

Matt Helm (Dean Martin) is a top agent whose death in a bathtub has the women in his life in mourning, though it is staged for his next assignment. He must find Dr. Solaris, inventor of a helium laser powerful enough to destroy a continent, after a criminal organization kidnaps him. Henry Levin follows the trail to the Côte d'Azur, and the film treats a weapon that could erase a continent as an occasion for a good time.
