“Face the music.”

Everything Rudy (Rudy Mancuso) hears turns into rhythm, from the clatter of Newark traffic to the chatter of his Brazilian family, and the beats keep running in his head. He is trying to hold together a new romance with Isabella (Camila Mendes), his relatives' expectations and a future he cannot see. Rudy Mancuso directs and stars, and what is at risk is whether Rudy can make room for the people he loves without letting the noise swallow them.
