Mutual Appreciation

Alan (Justin Rice), a musician, leaves his broken-up band behind and arrives in New York to start over. He crashes around the city's young bohemian circle, trying to keep his head on the music while his friend Lawrence (Andrew Bujalski) introduces him around. Andrew Bujalski lets the talk wander, and between Alan and Ellie (Rachel Clift), Lawrence's girlfriend, an attraction starts that neither knows how to say out loud.
