My Best Friend

(2006)Directed by Patrice Leconte90 minComedy
“It takes a lifetime to learn the meaning of friendship... François has 10 days.”

Nobody has ever met François's best friend, and Catherine (Julie Gayet) has decided he doesn't exist. To prove her wrong, François Coste (Daniel Auteuil) sets out to produce one. Patrice Leconte follows him as he coaches Bruno Bouley (Dany Boon), a talkative taxi driver, in the role, and the film ends on the two men sitting together, François still working out how to hold a conversation.
