Richard Chappoteaux (Gérard Lanvin) and four friends have shared everything since May 68, the hippie years, the rock, and a love for the same woman, Bernadette. She left them to become a rock star, and now she is coming back for one weekend, fifteen years later. Jean-Marie Poiré fills the reunion with Lanvin and Christian Clavier (as Jean-Michel Tuilier), and the film keeps asking what a generation's friendships weigh against the years that have passed.
