My Best Part

Everything has gone wrong for Jérémie (Nicolas Maury) at once, and the actor's answer is to leave Paris for Limosin and the house of his mother, Bernadette (Nathalie Baye). His career has stalled, and his relationship with his boyfriend Albert (Arnaud Valois) has come apart. Maury, directing himself for the first time, keeps the camera close on Jérémie's face as he sulks, performs and gets caught by his mother.
