My Broken Mariko

A phone call tells Tomoyo Shiino (Mei Nagano) that her best friend Mariko (Nao) is dead, and nothing in it explains why. She takes Mariko's urn from the abusive father who kept it and sets out for Marigaoka Cape, the place Mariko always said she wanted to see. Yuki Tanada follows her on the road with the urn in her arms, a small box she carries like a friend who could still be spoken to.
