My Days of Mercy

“The heart takes no sides”

Lucy (Elliot Page) travels from protest to protest with her sister Martha (Amy Seimetz) and younger brother Benjamin (Charlie Shotwell), fighting to save their father, who sits on death row. At one demonstration she meets Mercy (Kate Mara), who stands among the people on the other side of the cause. Tali Shalom-Ezer keeps the two women close in the frame, a few feet of crowded pavement between them.
