My Fair Lady
“The loverliest motion picture of them all!”
Nobody in Edwardian London can say how a Cockney flower seller could pass for a duchess, and Professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) bets Colonel Pickering that he can make it happen. His subject is Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who sells flowers in the street and talks like it. George Cukor sets the lessons in Higgins's study, where teacher and pupil start out as opponents and slowly become two people who depend on each other.
