My Fake Boyfriend

“Real love is hard to find.”

Andrew (Keiynan Lonsdale) is a young man in a Canadian city whose awful ex keeps turning up in his life, until his unconventional best friend suggests he invent a boyfriend on social media. Rose Troche follows the scheme as Andrew builds the fake relationship post by post, then meets Jake (Dylan Sprouse), who is entirely real. Now Andrew likes someone he can't date honestly, and the made-up boyfriend won't go away.
