My Father the Hero

“Fathers have just one problem with raising their daughters. They grow up!”

A teenage girl on holiday in the Bahamas tells the boy she likes that the man at her side is not her father but her lover. Nicole (Katherine Heigl) is there with Andre (Gérard Depardieu), her divorced dad, and Steve Miner follows the lie as it spreads among the other guests. Underneath it is a girl who wants to be taken seriously as an adult while her father is still trying to keep up with her.
