My Father's Shadow

Folarin (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù) lives apart from his two young sons, Remi (Chibuike Marvellous Egbo) and Akin (Godwin Egbo), and rarely sees them. In 1993, during the Nigerian election crisis, he takes the boys with him into Lagos for a single day. Akinola Davies Jr. follows the three through a city much bigger than the boys have known, where the unrest grows as they try to get home, and where what a son learns about his father is the part he carries out.
