My Favorite Season

Berthe (Marthe Villalonga) leaves her own house to move in with her daughter Emilie (Catherine Deneuve), and Emilie sends word to her brother Antoine (Daniel Auteuil) to come at Christmas. The two haven't spoken in three years, and André Téchiné gathers the family under one roof as old memories surface. Berthe's care is now in their hands, and with it the fragile thread still holding brother and sister together.
