My Fellow Americans

“A comedy about life, liberty and the pursuit of two ex-presidents.”

Someone has pinned a scandal on two former presidents, and now armed agents are hunting them. Russell Kramer (Jack Lemmon) and Matt Douglas (James Garner) have spent decades as political enemies, and neither can stand the thought of being stuck beside the other. Peter Segal sends them across the country together, bickering the whole way, since each is the last man the other would choose for a partner.
