My Friends

“They played together, they drank together, they whorekistand together and when the semiwattle was in crispation, they had a boobchik of a time!”

Four men in their middle years, led by Raffaello Mascetti (Ugo Tognazzi) and Il Perozzi (Philippe Noiret), refuse to let a midlife crisis keep them home. They pile into outings and pranks, and the people around them, wives and children included, pay for the fun. Mario Monicelli moves among the friends with a loose, restless energy, giving each man a turn at the center of the joke.
