My Giant

“A comedy of incredible proportions.”

Sammy Kamin (Billy Crystal), a worn-out talent agent, gets lost on a back road in Romania and stumbles on Max Zamphirescu (Gheorghe Mureșan), a giant living quietly in a monastery. Sammy sees a client he can sign and a way to rescue his failing career, and Max sees a man who stops to talk to him. Michael Lehmann keeps the camera close on the two of them, mostly at eye level for one and at an upward tilt for the other.
