My Life in Pink

“Sometimes you just have to be yourself.”

In a tidy suburban neighborhood, the Fabre family has just moved in, and six-year-old Ludovic (Georges Du Fresne) is sure a mistake is about to be fixed: she was meant to be a girl. Her parents, Hanna (Michèle Laroque) and Pierre (Jean-Philippe Écoffey), laugh at first, until the neighbors and the other children stop laughing. Alain Berliner keeps Ludo at the center, her lace and her small baubles the only bright things on the street.
