My Little Loves

(1974)Directed by Jean Eustache124 minDrama

Daniel (Martin Loeb) has spent his childhood in his grandmother's quiet rural house, and after a year of high school he is sent to live with his mother (Ingrid Caven) in her cramped apartment in the south of France. Jean Eustache, in his second and last feature, follows the boy through a harsher world of new friends, first jobs and the women he starts to notice. Everything Daniel believed about all three is up for revision, and he is still a child while it happens.
