“To restore harmony, the bands must battle!”

The Canterlot High "Mane Event" talent show is about to start, and Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends have a band to put together. Their rivals are Adagio Dazzle and The Dazzlings, who want the top spot and can sing. Jayson Thiessen and Ishi Rudell stage it as a series of full-volume song numbers, with a stage show's energy running through the animation.
