My Mom Is a Character

“And you still thought that mothers were all the same.”

Dona Hermínia (Paulo Gustavo) is a mother who has run out of patience with her grown children, Marcelina (Mariana Xavier) and Juliano (Rodrigo Pandolfo). After another argument, she walks out and shuts herself away in her aunt's house. André Pellenz adapts Gustavo's own stage play, and there she sits alone with her memories of the years when the kids still needed her.
