My Mother

Nazlı (Özge Gürel) leaves her village for college, carrying everything her mother gave up to send her there. She is ashamed of that mother and wants to put the village and its life behind her. Mustafa Kotan follows her through the years afterward, when she starts to wish she could go back, and the film is about how long it takes a child to see what a parent has done for her.
