My Mother's Wound

On his eighteenth birthday, Salih (Bora Akkaş) walks out of the orphanage to look for the family he lost and takes a job on a Serbian farm. The farm's people, among them Borislav (Ozan Güven) and Marija (Meryem Uzerli), take him in, and for the first time he has a home. Ozan Açıktan sets the story in the aftermath of the Bosnian War, where what a family keeps hidden can matter more than what it shows.
