My Name Is Bruce

“Fearless! Unstoppable! Ready For His Close-Up!”

In the small Oregon town of Gold Lick, a Chinese ghost has been loosed on the residents, and a teenage fan named Jeff (Taylor Sharpe) kidnaps the one man he trusts to stop it. That man is Bruce Campbell (Bruce Campbell), a washed-up B-movie actor who takes the trip believing it is a paid appearance. Campbell directs and plays himself as a self-absorbed has-been, and the joke holds because the town needs a hero and he can only supply the actor.
