(1945)Directed by Joseph H. Lewis65 minThriller, Mystery
“She went to sleep as a secretary ... and woke up a madman's "bride"!”

Julia Ross (Nina Foch) takes a job as live-in secretary to the widow Mrs. Hughes (May Whitty) and moves into her house. Two days later she wakes in a different house, in clothes that aren't hers, to people who call her by another name. Joseph H. Lewis keeps her at the center of every room, and she holds to her own name while everyone around her insists she is someone else.
