My Name Is Loh Kiwan

“I have decided to survive in this land.”

Brussels, Belgium, is where Loh Kiwan (Song Joong-ki) lands after defecting from North Korea, and where he must convince the authorities to grant him refugee status. Kim Hee-jin follows him through the waiting and the paperwork, until he crosses paths with Marie (Choi Sung-eun), a woman who has stopped expecting anything from her days. Kiwan needs a legal place to stay, and each hearing he faces could send him back.
