My Name Is Tanino

In a Sicilian summer, Tanino (Corrado Fortuna), a film student with big political opinions and not much else to do, falls for Sally (Rachel McAdams), an American tourist from a well-off family. She flies home without a word, so he follows her across the Atlantic on the excuse of returning a camera she left behind. Paolo Virzì sends him chasing a girl he knew for one season, and the film's idea is how much of first love is built in your own head.
