My New Partner

René Boirond (Philippe Noiret) has worked the same Paris beat for years and wants it to stay exactly as it is, with the small-time crooks paying him to look away. Then his station sends him a new partner, François Lesbuche (Thierry Lhermitte), an academy graduate who believes in the job. Claude Zidi sets René's lazy arrangement against François's clean record, and the longer they ride together, the more it is François's honesty that could end up costing him.
