My New Partner II

Two police partners are suspended for their honesty, and the people sent to replace them are far more crooked than either man ever was. François Lesbuche (Thierry Lhermitte) and René Boirond (Philippe Noiret) both face a moral crisis they never planned on. Claude Zidi sets two men who have bent every rule against a squad that has thrown the rules out, and what the film wonders is whether being straight with people is worth the price.
